Accepted Payment Methods

Payment for your order on [website] is made exclusively online, using the secure payment system Shopify Payments.

The accepted payment methods are:

Debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
Other payment methods enabled on Argile's Shopify account: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal

Payment Security

All transactions on the site are secure and encrypted. Your banking details are never stored or accessed by Argile — they are processed directly by Shopify Payments, in line with the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Currency and Prices

All orders are billed in pounds sterling (£), inclusive of all taxes, excluding any delivery costs, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Time of Debit

Payment is taken at the time your order is accepted by Argile, as set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale. An invoice showing the VAT will then be sent to you by email.

In Case of Payment Failure or Refusal

If your payment is declined or cannot be verified, your order will not be processed. Please check your banking details or contact your bank, then try placing your order again. Argile reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where payment has not been honoured by the issuing institution, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
