The story behind the project

The project rests on a palette of warm shades that follows the volumes and materials naturally. The colours don’t simply dress the walls: they extend the architecture, converse with the existing woodwork and bring out the light that crosses the rooms throughout the day.

The reception rooms are built around terracotta tones that wrap the walls, the joinery and some of the built-in furniture in a single visual continuity. In the entrance, a powdery dado sits against a deep yellow that highlights the existing stained glass, while the living room favours a softer palette of mineral tones for a bright, calm atmosphere.

“Colour follows how a room is used and reveals the character of each space.”
