Argile's story
Discover

Founded in 2006, Argile was born of the encounter between an entrepreneur and paint expert, Jean Frédéric Nothomb, and a colour specialist, Pierre Bonnefille. The idea is to offer a premium range of products to architects, decorators, set designers and all those who have an interest in decoration, whether professionals or private individuals. Their philosophy is to draw inspiration from the colours of the earth. And their challenge is to manufacture a range of colours on an industrial scale and couple them with true service.

Argile has established itself as a reference. Its paints are used in projects which are as varied as they are ambitious: exhibition displays for the Louvre Museum and the Grand Palais in Paris and the Arc cultural centre in Le Creusot; the decoration of luxury hotels such as the Zebra Square in Paris, the Arbre Voyageur in Lille, the Connaught in London and the Hoxton in Amsterdam, and the interior design of traditional, modern and contemporary homes.
